Motel was clean, comfortable (while not asleep), well managed and kept. Only problem we had was the heating unit worked GREAT on one side of the room. The sleeping side was FREEZING. Thank God for great blankets. Need to figure out how to get the heat in the entire room not just one end. Oh, and no coffee maker. Other than that, Great stay. THANK YOU and Merry Christmas.
We recently stayed here for a few nights. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Nice clean room, clean bathroom with lots of hot water and good water pressure in the shower. Plus they let us bring our dogs! Would definitely recommend.
My time spent at the travellers made me feel accepted and in good hands. The people here have really restored my faith in human compassion and kindness. The Owners and staff accommodated to my Situation and for that reason they have earned all my stars in reviews. ⭐ I would recommend to anyone , fancy or not you can’t buy that kind of genuine hospitality.
Don't let the classic roadside motel look (or the reasonable prices) fool you. Inside the rooms are completely updated and tastefully redone. Our room was nicer than rooms that we've paid twice as much for at the big chain hotels. The staff is very friendly, there is free wifi of course, and an excellent Greek restaurant right next door. It's a 5min drive from downtown, or a nice walk through the beautiful town. This is where we stay every time we're in Stratford. Or maybe I shouldn't tell you all of this and just keep this little gem a secret.
It is in need of a fix up on the outside. I was taken aback a bit upon entering the car park. However, it's a very nice gentleman that runs it. The room is clean and in good nick. Lots of hot water,comfy big bed , lots of seating, free streaming on the TV. The room has a microwave and a small refrigerator. Lots of room to unpack if you've got a suit or dresses to hang. On the main Street, about 15 to 20 mins walk to the theater, Upper Queens Park ,etc. 5 min Drive to the downtown. Mall and Plaza are conveniently nearby . Gas station and variety store too. Good enough for a quick visit.
I stayed last week during a business trip. I was quite pleased. The room was super clean, nicely renovated and everything worked. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location close to all the suburban businesses in Stratford. Although it is right on the main road it was very quiet in my room. One unique thing I really liked: the room is very wide, so it has a nice big window at the front, plus a small window looking over the back yard, and another in the bathroom. So lots of natural light. Also a screen door! That will be great in the summer. I will stay here again for sure.
Went on a trip to Stratford, wanted a motel as far away from downtown as was practical. The room was very spacious, with a very large bathroom. Microwave, fridge and TV provided. It was wonderful to enjoy the quite of the area. The motel is conveniently right next to the line 2 bus stop heading downtown.
This is a hidden gem in Stratford, ON. It is centrally located and walking distance if you want to major shopping and amenities. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and surprisingly enough the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The staff are very friendly and it's a nice little motel where all the guests get to sit around and talk. I would definitely recommend this place who is looking for a great place to stay and reasonably priced. Give it a try and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
So I won’t lie. I was expecting just a basic run of the mill motel. But was I ever surprised. First they called me prior to arrival to see what time so they could have the room all toasty warm and ready. That is super cool on its own. Once I got to the room. Damn!!! Very nice. Very clean. And the service was exceptional. Looks old on the outside. But everything is updated in the rooms. This is a true hidden gem. Will definitely be here again. As I work not to far from here.
